Week II Technique - Palm Muting

Here is a technique used in the song "With or Without You" by U2 that you might be interested in using in your own playing. It is called palm muting, and it is achieved by placing your the palm of your picking hand lightly on the strings of the guitar near the bridge. Here is a video tutorial about how to do this:
